Subash Chand

Subash is a Partner in Smythe’s Accounting & Assurance Group, bringing nearly two decades of experience in public accounting. He provides accounting, assurance, and tax advisory services to privately held businesses, individuals, and non-profit organizations. His industry expertise spans real estate and construction, agriculture, manufacturing, and distribution.

He works closely with owner-managed businesses on tax planning for shareholder remuneration and retirement, corporate reorganizations, succession planning, and securing financing for growth. Within Smythe, Subash is actively involved in recruitment and staff mentorship.

Subash earned his Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in accounting from the University of the Fraser Valley and obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in 2012. He joined Smythe’s Langley office in 2019 after more than a decade with another mid-sized firm in the region.

Outside of work, Subash enjoys travelling, spending time with family, and is an avid sports fan.
