Kay Lac

Kay is primarily focused on providing accounting, assurance, and advisory services to privately-owned companies and individuals. She works with companies in the real estate and construction industry and owner-managed companies across a variety of industries. Kay also has an interest in technology and hopes to expand her expertise in the technology industry. Within Smythe, Kay is actively involved in campus recruitment, staff development, and providing in-house training to staff. She is also a member of the Real Estate & Construction Industry group.

Kay was born and raised in Vancouver, B.C. and graduated from the University of British Columbia (UBC) with a Bachelor of Science. After completing the Diploma in Accounting Program at UBC, she joined Smythe in 2016 and obtained her CPA designation in 2019.

Outside of work, Kay maintains an active lifestyle through her love for snowboarding, yoga, boxing, and traveling. She also enjoys trying out the newest restaurants Vancouver has to offer.
