Ben Ho

Ben brings more than 30 years of experience in public practice to his role as Senior Manager in Smythe’s Canadian Tax Group. He specializes in estates and trusts, helping individuals, families, and privately held businesses navigate complex tax planning and compliance matters with a practical, relationship-focused approach. 

Ben earned his BA in Economics from the University of Manitoba in 1986 and became a Chartered Professional Accountant in 1991. Prior to joining Smythe in 2010, he spent nearly two decades at a national accounting firm. 

Outside of work, Ben enjoys travelling, photography, cooking, and exploring different cuisines with his family.
