Christine Wong

Christine is a Principal in Smythe’s Advisory Group, specializing in M&A advisory and business valuations. She brings more than 15 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions and valuation services, with a focus on the financial services sector, including banks, insurance companies and insurance brokerages. She works with privately held and public companies, as well as individuals, with particular expertise in the property and casualty (P&C), benefits and life insurance industries. 

Before joining Smythe in 2026, Christine held senior corporate development and M&A roles where she led acquisition initiatives, strategic growth projects, financial analysis, due diligence and transaction execution. She combines strong technical valuation expertise with practical transaction experience, helping clients navigate complex transactions and financial decisions with confidence. 

Christine graduated from the University of Waterloo and earned her CPA designation in 2005 and CBV designation in 2007. She also holds a US CPA designation. 

Christine finds the greatest satisfaction in helping business owners successfully sell their companies and feel confident in the outcome of one of the most significant financial and personal decisions of their lives.
