Krystal specializes in US cross-border tax issues for individuals, trusts, and estates. She provides advice for individuals arriving in or departing from Canada, US citizens resident in Canada, and Canadians with assets in the US. She also provides assistance to corporations with regard to payroll, business travelers and seconded employees.
Krystal attended the University of British Columbia and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. After working in laboratories for a few years, she decided to change careers and obtained her Diploma in Accounting from the Sauder School of Business. Krystal began her accounting career at a local mid-size firm where she received her CPA, CA designation in 2011. She then went on to work at a national firm for 8 years focusing on US personal cross-border compliance and advisory work.
Outside of work, Krystal enjoys traveling, gardening, and knitting.
