Paul Woodhouse

Paul is a Principal in Smythe’s Advisory Group, specializing in business valuations, litigation support, and the quantification of economic losses. He works with privately held and public businesses, individuals, and family lawyers, with a focus on shareholder disputes, family law matters, and clients in the technology and property and casualty (P&C) insurance industries. 

Paul brings decades of experience in valuation and litigation support, having held senior roles at national and international firms and operated his own boutique valuation practice before joining Smythe in 2015. He obtained his CPA designation in 1987 and earned his Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) designation in 1990. 

He contributes on thought leadership on business valuation and litigation matters through published articles on the Smythe blog and is a former President of the BC Chapter of the CBV Institute. 

Outside of work, Paul enjoys working out, travelling, and hiking.
