Emily McCune

Emily specializes in providing accounting and audit services to both public and private companies in the technology, manufacturing, mining and exploration sectors. She is the Team Coordinator of Smythe’s Audit Group and is actively involved in the firm’s Technology Niche Group. 

Since joining Smythe in 2016, Emily has played a key role in recruitment, leading the interview process for audit staff candidates. She is also dedicated to supporting others through mentorship, particularly by guiding CFE writers as part of Smythe’s mentorship program. 

Emily earned her degree from Simon Fraser University in 2016 and received her Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation in 2018. 

Outside of work, Emily enjoys playing video games and spending time with family and friends.
