Paul Woodhouse

Paul’s expertise includes business valuations, litigation support, quantification of economic losses and related matters. As a part of Smythe’s Advisory team, he primarily provides business valuation and litigation support services. He has written a series of blogs on both topics. He works primarily with private businesses and litigation lawyers that focus on Family Law and Shareholder Disputes.

Paul was raised in North Vancouver and graduated from Simon Fraser University in 1980. He obtained his CPA valuation in 1987 and CBV designation in 1990. Prior to joining Smythe in 2015, Paul was a Senior Manager at a mid-sized national firm at an Edmonton practice for three years. He has also been with another international firm for over a decade and operated his own boutique valuation practice for several years.

Paul is also the former president of the BC Chapter of the CBV Institute. In his spare time, he enjoys working out, travelling, and hiking.
