Emily Mahannah

Emily has been with Smythe since 2008 and has enjoyed working with a variety of clients, including professional partnerships, family trusts, large corporations, and owner-managed businesses. She helps privately held businesses and individuals with cross-border investments. Within Smythe, Emily is actively involved with technology improvement, process standardization, and template generation.

Originally from Kelowna, Emily has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Victoria. She obtained her CA designation with Smythe in 2011 and completed the three-year CPA In-Depth Tax Course in 2015.

When she’s not enjoying a relaxing evening at home with her husband, you can often find Emily on the trails in North Vancouver and surrounding areas, hiking, camping, or snowshoeing. She is a recreational volleyball player, loves traveling to new places and experiencing local cuisines, and is working hard to learn to speak Korean.
