Gary Luedke
As a Partner, Gary Luedke’s enthusiasm for people shines through in his client relationships, compassionate community work and enthusiasm for problem solving. Gary began at Smythe LLP as an articling student after completing a Commerce Degree from UBC over 30 years ago. He is now a Partner specializing in assurance in owner-managed business enterprises, not-for-profit organizations and benefit plans. Gary has extensive client experience within the real estate and construction industries.
Outside of work, Gary is an award-winning community services advocate. He was presented the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants’ Community Service Award in 2004. Gary is currently the treasurer of Ronald MacDonald House of BC, and for many years was the president or treasurer of BC 211 — a local not-for-profit that provides telephone information and referrals to community, social, health and government services including victim assistance, problem gambling, and drug and alcohol assistance help lines in BC.
Gary is an avid Canucks fan and a long time minor hockey coach. He is happy to share his opinions about cars with just about anyone.
