Jenny Vu

At Smythe Jenny primarily works with privately held companies from various industries and is also involved in accounting and assurance, compilation engagements, review engagements, and tax returns. Within the Firm, Jenny is involved with recruitment support, training and mentorship.

Jenny was born in Hong Kong and moved to Canada at the age of 2. She worked in the hospitality industry before making a career switch to accounting, graduating from BCIT with a Bachelor of Accounting in 2019. She joined Smythe in 2020 and obtained her CPA designation in 2024.

Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling, watching movies, hot yoga and going to fitness classes.
