Mohammad Sheikhzadeh

Mohammad is a Manager in Smythe’s M&A Advisory Group, where he provides transaction advisory services to privately held and family-owned businesses. He specializes in sell-side and buy-side transactions, as well as corporate finance advisory, supporting clients through the complexities of mergers and acquisitions, and exit planning. 

Mohammad has extensive experience in the property and casualty (P&C) insurance brokerage sector and has advised on more than eight transactions in this space. He has also worked on sell-side transactions within the manufacturing and distribution and food and beverage sectors. Mohammad joined Smythe in 2022 and is a Chartered Business Valuator (CBV). 

He holds a Master of Science in Finance from Simon Fraser University and enjoys collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to help clients navigate critical business decisions with confidence.  

He also brings a strong commitment to community involvement, having been involved with the Heart and Stroke Foundation from 2022 to 2024.
