Smythe LLP is pleased to announce the continued growth of its national Advisory practice with the addition of Christine Wong as Principal, M&A Advisory, based in Ontario.
While headquartered in British Columbia, Smythe has long provided advisory and transaction support services to clients across Canada. Christine’s addition represents an important milestone in the firm’s continued expansion, establishing a dedicated M&A Advisory presence in Ontario and further strengthening Smythe’s ability to support clients locally in one of Canada’s largest and most active markets.
Christine Wong’s M&A Advisory Experience
With more than 15 years of experience in M&A, valuations, and corporate development, Christine brings deep expertise in advising clients on complex strategic and financial matters. Her experience spans financial services, with a particular focus on P&C insurance, benefits and life insurance, banking, and insurance brokerages. Throughout her career, Christine has supported acquisition initiatives, business valuations, due diligence, transaction negotiations, and post-closing integration. She has worked closely with senior executives, business owners, and stakeholders to evaluate opportunities and execute transactions that support long-term growth.

As Principal, M&A Advisory, Christine will work with clients on acquisitions, divestitures, succession planning, business valuations, and other strategic transaction matters. Her practical, relationship-driven approach aligns closely with Smythe’s commitment to delivering thoughtful, high-quality advice to privately held businesses, public companies, and individuals.
