Amy Orr

Amy helps privately held companies in Nanaimo and non-profit organizations with a number of assurance engagements and tax compliance matters. She is also actively involved in mentoring CPA PEP students. She hosts workshops for PEP modules and helps mark practice cases. In addition, she is also involved in student recruitment, particularly at her alma mater, Vancouver Island University. She was featured in the February 2023 edition of the Vancouver Island University Accounting Students Association (ASA) newsletter.

Born and raised in Nanaimo, BC, Amy joined Smythe as a co-op student in 2018. After she graduated she became a full-time member of the team. She achieved her CPA designation in 2022.

Outside of work, she enjoys being active and participating in sports such as volleyball and pickleball, as well as hiking and reading.
